The Future of Human Resources is Changing: How do we move from Human Resources to Re-Sourcing Humans.
We are likely not going back to work as usual following COVID. More and more businesses have migrated to work-from-home policies. While we may have more balance, what is lost? Magic moments happen at the water-cooler, and innovation happens in the spaces between human connections. We're tired of Zoom calls! And, work doesn't seem to stop.
Thriving organizations are collaborative networks where ideas are generated through interaction and dialogue. In the Zoom world, this is changing, and much is being lost. How do we as HR professionals connect people together again? How do we create networks where collaboration can happen? How do we create more renewal in a world where we are glued to screens?
This workshop will reveiw recent trends in HR service delivery, and propose a bold shift in HR application.
For too long, we have been partnering with business leaders with what we perceive as their highest need - performance management, succession planning, human capital metrics ... We've relied on technologies and grid boxes. As an outside consutlants, we hear all-too-often how disappointed leaders are with HR. Why? We've gathered enormous amounds of data. But, what is it that leaders really need and want? And, are those areas the same ones that really drew us to Human Resources? Yes! We can actually fulfill our calling as HR leaders and also deliver what the business needs: human connection.
Leaders are struggling with burnout, exhaustion, and stress. The felt need of the business is uniquely human! How do we create more "human" centered workplaces where people can show up at their best, connect more deeply, and thrive together? How do we help leaders renew? How do we prevent burnout and exhaustion? How do we Re-Source Humans.
